KOTICKEE’S ADOPTION POLICIES
If you decide to purchase a Chinese Crested from us at Kotickee we want you to feel that our relationship is just beginning. We try to stand by all our pups as they go to their new families making the transition as simple and enjoyable as possible for all. We know that happy new moms and dads mean happy new pups. This is our ultimate objective.
In general our puppies that will be placed as companion pets are sold with AKC Limited Registrations …they are not to be shown or bred. We do place many show/breeding Cresteds with Full Registrations. We try to place such a pup with the experiences and desires of the new owner in mind.
All our pups go to their new homes vaccinated and microchipped for permanent identification. Pups that are shipped will travel with a certificate of wellness from a veterinarian not more than ten days prior. Our contract guarantees health of our pups while expecting the new owner to provide a loving and permanent home. A sample contract can be seen at Sample Contract.
Our pups are shipped when necessary generally with American Airlines from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. We use American Priority, their counter-to-counter service or special handling. It is an ideal way to ship animals and we have never experienced any difficulty except for a flight delay in many years of experience. This service is generally available to most major cities and the cost is an additional $295 for puppies (adults $350) within the continental United States.
