The timing couldn't have been better for us to receive this handsome boy. Five years ago Barbara Fischer (Silver Bluff) had leased Remington Steele's father, Ch. Stonehill Cold Kotickee Steele from us. Cole provided her with two lovely litters. Remy was pick from one of those two. He had a full and exceptional life in those early years. Last year Colleen Shackleton was fortunate to have obtained him for her newly developing Crested program. Early this year Remy was diagnosed with critical stage heartworm disease. Colleen spent the remainder of 2009 helping Remy through the ordeal. We're sure that if it hadn't been for her exceptional care Remy would not have gotten through it. Today he is a healthy, happy boy. Because of his experience, we love to spoil him too. When he's not running in the backyard, he's sleeping on his favorite spot ...the couch. We're looking forward to pups from him next year as we have some exceptional line breedings planned. We hope that he'll continue to produce Champion get for us as he has for others in the past. |

Remy is a wonderfully proportioned Crested. He's confirmationally very correct yet small, refined and elegant ...a combination not often seen. He's a reminder of his famous paternal grandfather Ch. Rohan's Little Lion King SOD. His maternal grandfather Silver Bluff Halson, is get from two of our favorite Silver Bluff dogs which we have in our pedigrees as well. Of course we can tie it all together with a touch of Ch. Darshire It's Your Call DOM who is the mother of our Westminster Breed Winner, Ch Kotickee's Lyle Luv-It. She is Remy's paternal grandmother and has been so important to our breeding program. |

So we guess you can see why we are so excited about having this little guy here at Kotickee. If he excites you too, check back next spring and see what he has produced. There may be a Remy pup in your future. |
